Kelly Saunders: caterer and cooking teacher.

I have been cooking professionally for approximately 15 years, and as a hobby for many more. For the past several years I have been working as a self-employed caterer, personal chef and cooking teacher. Although I "dabbled" in other directions career-wise, including completing an Arts degree at Simon Fraser University, my passion for food and cooking eventually eclipsed my other interests. Thus "CUISINE BY DESIGN" was launched.

In addition to providing corporate and private catering, from intimate to larger gatherings "CUISINE BY DESIGN" offers in-home customized cooking classes, merging my love of cooking with my enthusiasm for sharing this love with others.

Our philosophy is summed up as "beautiful food, artfully presented". Our approach is contemporary with respect for traditional techniques and methods. We favour fresh, seasonal, high quality ingredients presented in a simple yet eye-appealing style.
